Paragon 700, Italy
In June 2020 the doors of Puglia's newest boutique hotel, Paragon 700, opened for the first time. 11 artfully decorated rooms are housed within the restored 18-century red palace, contrasting in colour with the whitewashed buildings of the surrounding village of Ostuni.
French parquet flooring extends throughout all 11 rooms and suites, which feature cathedral ceilings, period frescos and fireplaces. The hotel has a lush garden with Ostuni's only swimming pool, a restaurant headed by chef Giovanni Cerroni, a wine cellar and a magnificent spa.
Guests can expect experiences tailor-made to their preferences, from day trips on the hotel’s private yacht, to wine tasting, motorbike tours and cooking classes to fully embrace the local culture.
