An architectural marvel at the heart of Tbilisi
Bringing old and new Georgia together in the intellectual and cultural district of Vera, Rooms Hotel Tbilisi represents the Georgian capital’s exciting new wave of young designers.
The hotel’s design boasts an avant-garde approach with a traditional-meets-contemporary style and a rough-but-sophisticated artisanal interior. Hence, rooms and suites are outfitted with handmade wallpaper, rich wood floors complement claw-foot tubs, and mood lighting underlines it all.
Salvaged wood and industrial windows contrast with polished glass façades to reflect the city’s overall identity.
Rooms Hotel Tbilisi is housed in a brilliantly restored old publishing house. The façade is eye-catching. Sections of the hotel, showcasing original Georgian art, have been given gallery-like treatment featuring atrium-style walls that allow for plenty of daylight.
