Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires
Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires is the perfect combination between traditional architecture and contemporary design. It is a complex of two buildings: a restored palace dating back to 1934 and a modern building overlooking the vibrant city.
All 23 guestrooms in Palacio Duhau are richly decorated with antique Persian carpets over wood floors, silk curtains and crystal chandeliers. Wide terraces open up a view over the beautiful garden, stretching over 4,400sq.m. In the new building, the 142 rooms are decorated with the neutral colours of cream, beige and warm grey fabrics, contemporary furniture, and black-and-white photographs of Buenos Aires.
The hotel features three restaurants and one bar: Duhau Restaurante & Vinoteca with a selection of over 5,000 Argentinian wines, Gioia Restaurante & Terrazas with its modern Italian cuisine and incredible views of the palace, Los Salones del Piano Nobile where you can have a breakfast or a snack throughout the day and the Oak Bar- the ideal place to unwind.
The hotel is located in Recoleta, a downtown residential and touristic destination of Buenos Aires, boasting museums, cultural centers and historical places to visit.
