In the beating heart of the Eternal City
All roads lead to Rome – and if yours happens to lead you there, Hotel de Russie awaits you in the centre of the Eternal City.
Ideally located in the heart of the city – Piazza del Popolo is 2 minutes of a walk away – the hotel is a stunning architectural monument. It is designed by the great architect Giuseppe Valadier, who redeveloped the Piazza as well. In its decorated history the building has played many parts. At one point it was the head office for the leading Italian television channel.
The hotel is frequented by renown guests: in the beginning of the 20th century Pablo Picasso and Jean Cocteau stayed here. Legend has it that every morning they leaned out of the windows to pick oranges from the garden.
Hotel de Russie is a gem of design that honours the traditions of Italian aesthetics. All rooms have the luxury of modern amenities and offer an ideal place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring, shopping or gastronomy.
