Las Islas, Colombia
Las Islas is a sophisticated, eco-friendly jungle estate in Colombia’s north, just a speedboat ride away from the historic colonial city Cartagena.
There is a total of 53 Bungalows scattered around the island, either in the treetops or on the beach. For a completely unique experience, you can sleep at Casa Navegante, a private 2-bedroom floating house.
Caribbean and Peruvian flavours are cooked up in the overwater Tia Coco restaurant and at Las Islas Bar you get a wonderful 360° view while sipping cocktails. There’s also an indulgent spa, Niña Daniela, with a saltwater pool, jacuzzi, Turkish bath and treatment rooms.
The resort is nestled in an important ecosystem next to the Parque Nacional Natural Corales del Rosario y de San Bernard. Much of the seasonal produce used in the restaurants is grown on-site, and the resort supports the local coral reef conservation project.
