This wonder is treasured and protected by Los Glaciares National Park, the largest in The Argentinа and declared a World Heritage by UNESCO. El Chaltén is located in the province of Santa Cruz in the Argentina, in the southern region of Patagonia and is the National Capital of Trekking of the country. In this stunning natural scenery you have multiple and varied options for walking, climbing, going on excursions and expeditions. The strong emotions begin long before arriving, when in the distance you can see mountains and glaciers that make this corner of Patagonia unique.
Several air routes from numerous cities in Argentina and Chile arrive daily at the El Calafate International Airport. The last 200 km are traveled by bus or transfers, a trip to the heart of the Southern Argentine mountain range.
