Vietnam: Da Lat
You don’t have to worry about seasons when it comes to traveling to Da Lat in Vietnam as it is the perfect destination all year round. Nicknamed as ‘The City of Eternal Spring’ and ‘The Niagara Falls of Vietnam’, Da Lat is one of the most beautiful romantic getaways in Vietnam. Tucked away in the Central Highlands of Vietnam, Da Lat historically served as a summer getaway destination for the French which is evident from the city’s streets and architecture. In recent years, many people have started calling it ‘Le Petit Paris’ and the town even features a mini-replica Eiffel Tower in its centre.
Da Lat is famous for its wide variety of flowers, vegetables and fruit from its surrounding farmlands as well as countless natural sites in its vicinity. One of the most famous natural beauties in the area is the Pongour Waterfall, along with other waterfalls and lakes, located in and around the city.
What makes Da Lat different from most other resorts in Vietnam is the fact that the city is surrounded by mountains. This creates a very unique climate, making it pleasant throughout the year, hence the nickname- City of Eternal Spring.
Dalat has the domestic flights from Ho Chi Minh city, Hanoi city and Da Nang city, as well as international flights from Bangkok, Thailand.
