Situated within its thousands of acres of lochs and mountains and set centrally within the Highlands National Nature Reserve, the Glen Affric Estate often is considered to be amongst the most beautiful places in Scotland.
Affric Lodge was constructed of local pine and hardwoods and Caledonian granite between 1860-1872 and is full of character showcasing its Victorian features including turrets and fireplaces. All has been faithfully restored. The charming and newly built Stable Cottage sited nearby, is contemporary and colourful.
The Lodge has eight elegant and luxurious bedrooms. The Stable Cottage has three more all of which are South facing.
More than famous views and fine buildings, Affric presents multiple sporting options. Enjoy fishing from boat or shore, sailing, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding and more… plus rifle shooting, shotgun clay shooting, and triathlon facilities.
Numerous trails surround the spellbindingly beautiful lochs and are to be explored on foot at any speed, or by mountain bike or aboard one of Affric’s Highland ponies and horses.
Immerse yourself in this great outdoors where ospreys and eagles overfly… and red deer observe you as you, in turn, observe them.
